Navigating Credit Transfers and Life Experience

Broward Theological University, Inc. will review all credits from acceptable Christian schools and will transfer in as many as are comparable to our programs. The credits earned at Broward Theological University, Inc. and transferred to another school are done so at the discretion of the receiving school. There is no guarantee that Broward Theological University, Inc. will accept transferring credits from other schools, nor is there any guarantee that other schools will transfer in credits earned at Broward Theological University, Inc. The student should contact each school of interest regarding that school’s policy of transferring credits.

Men and women who have significant work experience may receive Life Experience credit for the years of service to God. To qualify, the students must be at least 28 years of age, and must also provide a Life Experience Portfolio.

Based on information provided by the student, he/she can only be awarded up to 30 credits for undergraduate degrees. Life Experience credits may be earned for services such as work in the ministry, seminar preparation and teachings, military service, if these experiences can be compared to a degree program.
